Lake Louise is a spectacular glacier lake in Banff National Park. The fall colors this time of year produce an amazing array of colors, from yellows, to the aqua turquoise that the lake is known for, to the beautiful purples of sunset.
There was a 5-stop difference between the sky and the foreground. I used two ND Grads, one 3-stop hard reverse NDG Grad and one 2-stop soft NDG to balance the exposure. To stop the exposure down to 240 seconds I used a 6-stop B+W 77mm ND filter. ISO 50 was used to obtain maximum color saturation. 240 seconds.
